Origin
I am native to Zanzibar in Africa, which is why they also call me ZZ.
Height/Growth
I can grow to about a meter tall and am slowish growing.
Light
I am happy in anything from low to bright light, however I don't like to be in direct sunlight.
Water
Give me a drink when my soil is drying out, not too much.
Temperature
I prefer the warmth (15-24°C) but I can cope with as low as 8°C for short periods.
Feeding
Feed me some slow release fertiliser once a month during the growing season.
Grooming
Prune any dead leaves and re-pot me when I'm bursting out of my container.
Care
Wipe my leaves to remove dust.
Toxicity
Keep me away from children and pets.
Fact
I'm a good air purifier, so I'll help filter airborne toxins.
