A beautiful tree with circular leaves in deep green and maroon!

Aralia Fabian's upward growth habit is ideal for someone looking for scale with limited space. Thanks to its pleasing, regular foliage, this plant is sometimes called 'Dinner Plate Aralia.' The latin name Polyscias derives from Greek, with 'poly' meaning many and the 'scias' translating to shade, in reference to slow growth. Scutellaria' is derived from Latin, translating to 'a small dish, tray or platter", which is in reference to the shape of the calyx. The Fabian releases 97% of the water you give them into the atmosphere, which will help boost the humidity in your home.

  • The plant is purifying and humidifying, which makes them ideal for your bed room
  • The plant’s impressive foliage promises to improve air quality, filtering out VOCs including formaldehyde, benzene, trichloroethylene and carbon dioxide
  • It is a slow growing plant so ideal for a smaller place
  • According to Feng Shui, the Aralia Fabian brings warm positive energy
  • Perfect plant for a light and bright room with indirect light
  • Ideal house plant for a warm home

Aralia Fabian Care Guide

Soil:Repotting is recommended once every three years using a 'Houseplant' labelled compost and the next sized pot with sufficient drainage
