Dracaena Gold Dust
The gorgeous, glossy leaved Dracaena surculosa is a sturdy and easy to care for plant. Slow-growing evergreens, these tropical plants are known for their beautiful variegated foliage.
I'm a shrub-like indoor plant, distinguished by large, bold leaves coloured bright green with contrasting yellow speckles. As I mature my speckles will lighten and become white.
A loose clump of stems produce green oval leaves with white and yellow splotches, giving this plant its common name: Dracaena Gold Dust.
Native to the western tropical African rain forest, this plant will thrive in bright or filtered light conditions but can also tolerate some shade, making it a perfect houseplant. In the warmer summer months it will also thrive outside, as long as it is protected against direct sunlight. You should aim to water your plant once a week, or when the top inches of the soil are dry.
