What is Kokodama?

A unique and sustainable way of displaying your plants, Kokodamas are handmade coconut fibre bowls that look great indoors or outdoors.

They are made in Sri Lanka in collaboration with local communities, part of the proceeds of the sales help projects that give school children a better future! 

Fairtrade, biodegradable and natural, they come with a matching rope so you can hang your plants up! 

But what is the correct spelling?

Kokedama: A Japanese tradition, they are bowls made with moss on which the plant grows.

Kokodama: Our Kokodamas are based on the Japanese tradition but made with coconut fibre, hence the slight variation on their name!

A fast-growing vining plant, it receives its name as some say it’s a compact version of the Monstera Deliciosa with similar shaped light green leaves. 

The Monstera Minima is a tropical climber native of Southern Thailand and Malaysia

Care Tips: This plant thrives in medium indirect light and a location with average humidity and temperatures. Water when the soil is dry and be careful to not waterlog it.
