The common name really doesn't suit this wonderfully patterned tropical plant. Dumb? We think not. It's a mighty air purifier plus the patterns on the leaves will keep you staring in awe for hours. As for its Latin name, this Brazilian native was brought to Europe by Austrian explorer Joseph Dieffenbach in the 19th century. It likes a bright spot but not direct sun and likes moist soil but not soggy.
Latin name: Dieffenbachia Maroba
Size: Comes is 17cm growing pot.
Pets: Keep pets away - ingesting this plant will require a visit to the vet.
