Revered in Japan, Aomori Hiba is an ancient and slow-growing cypress tree whose wood has been used for centuries in the construction of temples and notable buildings throughout Japan. Hiba wood is naturally antiseptic, insect repelling and soothingly aromatic.

Hiba oil has been used for millennia to support the body and mind, and with natural antimicrobial properties, it is also the ideal pest-killer for plants. There are more than 40 different kinds of ingredients in the essential oil extracted from the Hiba wood. Two ingredients in particular, Hinokitiol and Beta-Dolabrin are highly rare and can only be found in the Hiba trees of Japan. It is these ingredients that will keep you calm and your plants pest free.
