Night Flowering Cactus
A Florida native, this cactus is as statement as they come. It’s from the same family as the dragon fruit and it’s fruit can indeed be eaten, although it’s unlikely it will grow one in an indoor environment. In the wild, it can also bloom but its flowers will always appear after nightfall and last only one single night, hence it’s common name Night Flowering Cactus. Hardy and easy going, it will love you forever as long as you don’t overwater it.
