Spiral Cactus

A 'twist' on the popular cactus variety of Cereus forbesii. This spiralling column-style cactus is rare, unusual and eye-catching. This particular cactus comes in a 19cm diameter growing pot so is also of a pretty impressive size, and will have been growing happily for years.

The kooky Spiral Cactus begins its life as a straight cactus, the ridges beginning to spiral once it reaches a height of approximately 10cm. In nature it usually grows as a shrub with numerous columns in a candelabra-like arrangement.

It thrives on neglect, requiring very infrequent watering, and is happiest in a warm, sunny room. As long as you don't fuss too much, you should have a sizeable Spiral Cactus for years to come.

All in all, this is a must-have for any cactus fan or rare plant connoisseur.

Please note that this cactus can vary in both height and width. Some are very 'spirally' others a little less so; it might be tall and thin or short and stubby. Revel in its uniqueness and don't waste your energy trying to train a cactus!
