The Philodendron Atom is a new cultivar from the South American epiphytic genus. The Atom has a compact growth habit, with densely formed clumps of leaves, which are gently ruffled along the edges and have a waxy texture.
I am a super easy-going, fuss-free plant with glossy leaves that transform any space into a tropical paradise.
They've been cultivated with ease of care in mind, and can cope with slightly shadier positions in the home (but for best results, place it in a bright room, out of direct sunlight).
The exact tone of green that these leaves have is rarely seen in plants native to the UK. This tone is associated with higher feelings of alertness and vitality, making it a great plant to have in your office or workspace.

Useful to know:
I come from rainforests across South America.
I can grow to a height and width of 1m!
I can handle anything from bright light to shade, but keep me away from direct sun.
Allow the top 3cm of my soil to dry between waterings.
Room temperatures of 16-24°C are perfect.
Feed me fortnightly from spring to autumn.
Give my glossy leaves a regular dusting please.
I can develop root rot if you water me too much or leave me sitting in water.
I am toxic so please don't eat me.
My leaves change shape as they mature, gaining more definition and indentations.
