The Phoenix Canariensis, also known as the Pineapple Palm, is a beautiful palm tree that can thrive in your back garden. This Canary Island Native is a beautiful tropical emblem, reminding us of sunny, warm days by the ocean. These plants love sun and can grow quite large to find it. They work really nicely in pots or simply planted in your back garden soil. You can eat these fruit though they are not known to be the best.

Pineapple Palm Care Guide
Light
Bright indirect sunlight is preferable. It can tolerate some partial morning or evening sun, but avoid intense midday sun if possible.
Water
Water it when the soil is starting to dry slightly at the top.
Temperature
The ideal temperatures for its growth are between 18°C to 35°C. It can handle occasional dips in temperature down to around -2°C for short periods, especially if not accompanied by frost. However, prolonged exposure to freezing temperatures can damage the palm.
Feeding
Occasionally feed it with a weak fertiliser during the warmer months.
Grooming
Only groom it if it begins to lose its shape.
Care
Keep the top of its soil clear from fallen leaves and debris.
