The Silver Splashes leaves start as deep eggplant purple that transitions to a deep green as the leaf matures and you can expect a cluster of dark purple star-shaped flowers to appear if you provide enough light.

The Hoya Silver Splash is an easy to care for house plant. The thick succulent leaves are well adapted to infrequent waterings. Provide a trellis to allow this plant to climb and twist around for extra support.

Allow soil to completely dry in between watering. The succulent leaves will hold water. During warmer months, keep the soil moist.

Follow a monthly fertilizing schedule when the plant is actively growing. In most cases, this is in the spring and summer. Use a balanced fertilizer - this means a ratio of NPK that is all the same. Ex: 10-10-10.
